Welcome to Aux Plumes, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the 14th arrondissement at 45 Rue Boulard, Paris. This charming restaurant captivates its visitors with a cozy ambiance and an ever-evolving menu that promises fresh and delightful creations every day. The intimate setting, designed to accommodate only around 20 guests, invites a sense of warmth and community—a reflection of the local Parisians who frequently frequent the spot.
As you step inside, you immediately sense the passion that drives this one-chef show. With daily menu changes, Aux Plumes keeps diners on their toes, making each visit a unique culinary adventure. For €18, you can indulge in the Trilogie Entrée that showcases a delightful selection of starters, perfectly paired with a main dish and a communal Cocotte De Potager À Partager. If you're feeling adventurous, opt for the Dégustation menu at €32, which offers a curated experience of two starters, a choice of fish and meat, and a dessert, crafted for the entire table to relish.
Patrons rave about the beautiful presentations and exquisite flavors that tantalize the palate. “The tuna steak was an absolute delight,” praises one enthusiastic diner, highlighting the chef's skill in bringing out the best in each ingredient, often complemented by unexpected garnishes like shiso. However, the tasting menu experience has garnered varying reviews. While some commend the artistry, others noted that it didn't measure up to the rich offerings of the fixed three-course menu, suggesting that one should perhaps lean towards the latter for value and satisfaction.
The ambiance may occasionally lean towards the noisy side, but this lively atmosphere only adds to the restaurant's charm, reinforcing a sense of camaraderie among diners. Customer reviews consistently mention the friendly, smiling owners, which enhances the overall experience and makes you feel right at home. Reservations are advised, especially given the popularity of this intimate nook.
In conclusion, Aux Plumes is more than just a restaurant; it’s a delightful culinary journey in the heart of Paris that invites discovery, and fosters community. With every visit, you'll find something fresh and exciting on your plate, making it a must-visit for both locals and travelers. So, whether you choose a delightful three courses or dare to explore the tasting menu, your dining experience at Aux Plumes is sure to leave a lasting impression.

A very nice and discreet restaurant in a quiet neighborhood. The menu is not exhaustive so you can be sure that everything is fresh and cook everyday. The food is tasty and the plate are beautifully presented. The menu change everyday so it’s always a new discovery and the prices are very reasonable. The owners are nice and smiley. It’s a small place so you need to book in advance. The only negative point is that it’s really noisy.

Dined there for the first time this evening. This was more of a casual restaurant but with a very impressive menu. Service was great and of course the food was amazing. The one thing I loved was the tuna steak (steak de thon) that was seared, and it was paired with a garnish that had shiso. You just couldn't help but eat slowly so you could enjoy every bite.

It is a one-chef show :) We took the degustation menu. It might have been longer between the fish and the meat but we enjoyed the food.

Cozy small restaurant with about 20 covers. Appreciate the fact that the chef try to change menu everyday. Fix 3 courses menu is for 38€ with a lot of choice. Unluckily we ordered the tasting menu and regretted it. For 60€ we had 3 half appetizers, a half fish and a half meat, and a dessert. However, it’s look sadder than the abundant dishes of the 3 courses menu ordered by neighboring tables. Amuse-bouche was tasteless but all the appetizers were very delicious (the tataki beef with mango sauce was excellent). However, fish course with rays was inedible, too smelly. We got to ask for a favor to exchanged the proposed meat course (pork) for duck. Dessert was average. We think that 3 courses menu worths much more than the tasting menu, which is sad as it should be the highlight of the restaurant of this type.

You know you are the right place when you see mainly locals enjoying thoroughly their meals in this small packed place. We were very lucky a table freed just when we arrived without a reservation and the waitress kindly invited us in. Food was top notch needless to say.

We found Aux Plumes also through the Bib Gourmand list from Michelin. We came the first time for their lunch menu at 20€ which is a rare-to-find in Paris, and they offer it even on Saturday. You should book quite in advance though (we booked more than a week in advance for our Saturday lunch table). It was super interesting, and needless to say, the quality was so worth the price. The 3-starter idea was very catchy and they made it very good. The most memorable thing was actually the side ‘veggie garden’ with all the tiny colorful lively veggies so well cooked and seasoned, such a treat! We came back the next time for the 3 course dinner menu. Again another flavorful voyage with many interesting ingredients, a bit confusing for some combinations because of too many things on the plate, but overall we were impressed with the audacity of the chef through this big menu. Totally deserve their Bib gourmand and worth a try and a come back! Services were friendly and efficient.

Very lovely restaurant located in the heart of 14e in Paris. The restaurant is well decorated with a lovely atmosphere. We ordered the Menu degustation for lunch with 2 appetizers, 2 main dishes and 1 dessert. Both my friend and I were surprised by how delicious and food is. Definitely recommend!
